Forget his name, forget his face
Forget his kiss and warm embrace
Forget his love that you once knew
Remember he’s got someone new.
Forget him when you hear his songs
Forget that you cried all night long
Forget how close you two once were
Remember he has chosen her.
Forget his laugh, forget his grin
Forget the creases on his chin
Forget the way he held you tight
Remember he is hers tonight.
Forget the times that went so fast
Forget the love that now has past
Forget he said he’d leave you never
Remember he has gone forever.
At times I feel that I can move on, at times I am not so sure. Maybe I just need more of it – time.
